Superintendent Gunning shares her expertise as a member of Microsoft's prestigious Community Advisory Board.
The Datacenter Community Advisory Board (DCAB) is a selected group of community leaders and local Microsoft representatives who solicit, review, and recommend applications from local organizations to Microsoft to be funded by Community Empowerment Fund (CEF) awards. DCAB members help Microsoft understand community priorities and how the Microsoft Datacenter Community Development team can provide the most relevant support.
DCAB members virtually met on March 19 to review 24 applications worth $479,000 in total. The DCAB members recommended eight projects totaling $100,000 to the Microsoft team. The selected applicants are currently in the process of completing the secondary application form to receive Governance Council approval.
