The Litchfield Elementary School District Governing Board has approved new school start and end times for the 2025-2026 school year. Based on feedback from school leaders, teachers, and the Transportation Department, the recommendation focuses on streamlining our school schedules. The changes ensure that all schools are dismissed by 3:30, maintain consistent instructional time across campuses, allow a 40-minute interval between Tiers for Transportation, make after-school sports and activities more manageable, and keep all PreK-8 campuses within the same Tier.
